mysql to id3?

Am I wrong or do the actuall tags on my files never get updated with the changes made in Amarok? I'm using mysql database.

The actual tags do get changed when you edit tags with Amarok - however Amarok writes id3v2.4 tags - not all apps can read tags of this version.
