If you use Amarok with podcasts than you came across this bug:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134221
and it is just terribly annoying - extremely hampers user experience for us podcasters who use Amarok. I would like to urge Amarok developers to fix this issue as soon as possible. And you users to go on bug page and vote for this bug that it gets fixed sooner rather than later.

There is one feature that was in Amarok 1.2 and got removed (why? ); and it is direct file deletion. Is it possible to put that option back? Why did you pull it out? It is a great feature! If it is too dangerous than disable it by default, and give warnings for non experienced users to know what it does, but DON'T remove it from Amarok, please.

Othervise thank you for your great work because Amarok is THE audio player on linux.

It's still there: Context menu -> Manage Files -> Delete File.

For me, I can read all the text in the "Extended Info" part of the window (I get scrollbars. If you don't, it's most likey an issue with your context browser theme I guess). The only thing wrong is wrapping, here I agree. But this seems to be a minor html issue.

Gotta say, I do not get horizontal scrollbars in this widget.

Ok, I now see that I made a confusion: there was a shortcut key for deletion, now it is not possible to give delete function a shortcut key in amarok. Sorry for not thinking before typing :)

I need ti when I get large amounts of new music that I listen through, and I only leave what I like. I would like to have an option do immediately delete stuff I don't like, and do it QUICKLY. Option is there for deletion but I need to click 3-4 times for each track that I want to delete - and that is too anoying to use.

Interesting, I do (using lastest svn version), of course only if the text's too long to fit into the window (and wrapping not working).

Do a search on the forum here for other threads dealing with deleting files. It became fairly obvious that people would mostly like it to be more difficult to delete files than have it be too easy.

Did you read my post? :)
I would like have an option for setting up a shortcut. Make it hard to setup... don't assign a hotkey by default, popup warnings before first use... anything, BUT make it possible. Don't remove the option to have the shortcut for deletion.
