The good:
When you have no song playing, the context 'tab' will list your newest albums as well as your favorite albums. Now, if you click on the text of the album's name, the albums will be expanded to tracklisting where you can drag the tracks over to add to your current playlist. This is a neat feature, and one of the things I've shown off to some people with amarok recently. the Bad (especially for new users); If you click on the album covers, two things can happen. Firstly, and very annoyingly - if you already have an album cover associated with the album, Konquerer launches to amazon.com page for that particular item. This would be neat as an option in the context menu, but I didn't even realize for quite a while that I could expand the albums to show the track listing without spawning another instance of Konqueror. So I kept clicking on the album covers and getting annoyed I had to close the Konqueror window each time I wanted to see the track listing for an album. This is very, very confusing - I would definitely move the option to launch amazon.com to the context menu, or alternately make an option to disable it, as clicking on the album cover to expand to the track listing is far, far more intuitive operation. Also, still bad but slightly less annoying: if you have no album art associated with an album, clicking on the album brings up the dialog to find one - annoying if there isn't any available for it and you have to click through it each time. Better to leave it in the context menu (where there's already an option for it). |

We have to do it exactly this way to comply with Amazon's TOS.
