Hi people, why the layout of amarok is so rigid? I cannot find a way to use it comfortably with my 1280x700 (pivot ) monitor.
What about having a Vertical layout option with Playlist and Context one on the top of the other? ------------- | | | Playlist | | | ------------- | | |Context | | | ------------- Commands ------------- Cheers Roberto |

There was some experiments on that in SVN long time ago, but then it was decided to keep the current layout (thank god).
Wait for 2.0...

I'll wait ... and I hope it to be taken seriously 'cause many are pivot user, and much more like to customize ....

Actually I <3 pivoting monitors though I don't have one myself.
This is certainly something we should remember... perhaps we could find the resolution and do it automatically. How does pivoting work in Linux? Does xrandr simply say like 1024x1280 (instead of the usual 1280x1024) ?
