is there like a core version of amarok, I suppose that's not likely because amarok IS really a desktop app, but I'm looking for a mp3 player which could be started on boot (hereby I mean without a kde login) which supplies the same functionality. Because I really need the dcop calls to the collection.
can this be done with amarok, simply put: can it be start in the console (not Konsole ) edit: I wanted to add that I know you can start 'amarokapp' from the command line, with a added paramter --display

My question would be:
Openmoko hits the market. Will there be a way to get amarok running von openmoko? This would be so cool! So there would be no reason to buy an Ipod Greetings strahler |
