Playlist(s) as drop target

Thu Jul 05, 2007 9:03 am
Hi all,

here's an idea which hit me yesterday:
I have to create new playlists from time to time for the most various events - multiple playlists at a time. Yesterday I had to create two lists for a small party, one for the coffee table and one for dancing. So I created one playlist which collected all the songs I plan to play, then I created the two target lists and splitted the content of my first one  into these two.

This would be much easier if I had some kind of drop target for the playlists for example at the bottom of the amarok window or as a button bar at the right side, so that I can scan my music collection and drop one title to playlist A and the next title to playlist B.

What do you think?

Regards

playlists on the playlist browser are drop targets - create new playlists (using the playlist menu, or right click), then you can drop tracks straight on them.
