hi
is there any way/plan/todo to display lyrics the way minilyrics do on windoze? (thats taking a plain text file with time stamps which syncs itself with the song and displays it in a little always-on-top box, line by line or in karaoke mode) thnx |

welll sure.. except it always says lyrics not found..
it would be nice if it had this to configure, meaning add/remove websites to look for lyrics also if it could be shrunk to just a single line (the one being played) i hope developer continues his good work here.. any alternatives meantime? thnx |

Hi legion1978 I am auther of lrcShow-II,. All of current search engines are Chinese website, maybe some difficult to search non-Chinese songs, but it is a good choice for you to load local lrc file. Do you have some good websites for search lrc of English songs? I could add if it's suitable. |

hi there nice job
mmm well actually local lrc files doesnt work for me either.. lrc file is named as the song title.. but it says "searching baidu", then it is supposed to look the local path, however it just says "nothing have been searched" i dunno about engines cause minilyrics has its own database and google seems to be the one at hand. maybe: - open lrc : to open a file on disk and associate it to the song. (currently theres no way to do this for individual files) - edit lrc : open a lyric already found by amarok, then just add timestaps with a hotkey (this is what minilyrics editor does) |

As usual, lrc file's name alway is the former just like: "artist - title.lrc", it means the lrc file' name should has the artist and title information, then it could be matched, otherwise, can't.
You could see the help document for details. And I found that the sogou engine has some ability of searching English songs, baidu almost 0. |

hey could you please add http://www.lrcdb.org/ to your lrc engine list? currently there are over 15000 songs on that page, and it's increasing rapidly. it's the only lrc page i found that has many metal lrc files too would be cool. thx! |

Hi, thanks for your suggestion, but I am afraid may be can't so far. First, the lrc files this website offer are not standard, the main reason is, right now I have no idea to locate the correct lrc file's url under script interface. But I won't give up, try my best. |
