Yo!
I love how flexible the filtering is in Amarok, and have long used the comments section to put in keywords that I use to filter my music actively, rather than maintain playlists. As they've become more elaborate, sometimes I find myself wanting to filter for things that would require parenthesis to clear up ambiguity. Something like (a AND b) OR (c AND d). Strictly speaking it wouldn't be necessary to incorporate a new "AND" operator or even parentheses, since "and" is currently implied in any given string. It might be a trivial change to make: "a b OR c d" be processed as the disjunction of the two conjunctions on either side -- that is, show everything that has both a and b, and also everything that has c and d. But, without parenthesis it's pretty counter intuitive to do a conjunction of disjuncts, like (a OR b) AND (c OR d)... since that'd have to be expressed as "a c OR b c OR a d OR b d". That'd be a strange thing to filter for anyway, but if anyone who's not a logician wanted a conjunction of disjuncts they'd be a lot better of with parenthesis for grouping at their disposal I don't know if many other people would find that helpful as well, or if it'd be more trouble than it's worth, but I sure think it'd be a nice update
