Hi I'm new to Linux as a eeePC user and got Amarok pre installed from ASUS as Musik panelen (Swedish lang.).
One of things I want this little wonder do for me, is as a semi portabel MP3-player and Video player For that I connect an external 250Gb 2.5 HDD. Now it happends that this drive not always is connected and Amarok deletes all track info of that drive and I have to recollect the tracks when I connect it again wich might take upto an hour. My question is how to go around the problem? Also the equalazer presettings have disappered, there was some good choices, now there only two left null and manual are there any way to get them back? |

The Amarok version installed on the Eee is very old (to my knowledge it's 1.4.4), you might want to upgrade it before looking deeper into these issues.
