Hope this is the correct forum for this question. I've looked for, but not found any way to tell AmaroK to not Capitalize The First Letter of every word when reading tags from the filename. This is a big usability issue for me as I have a lot of untagged music :(.

Ok, I admit I've have been fooled by the capital "K" in the logotype, but that doesn't really help me to turn off capitalization.  I guess from your reply then that there is no way to turn off the capitalization?

As far as I know, Amarok reads the tags verbatim. Are you sure the tags being read aren't capitalised that way to start with? I've never experienced auto-capitalisation in Amarok.

edit: or are you referring to the process of creating tags *based* on the file name? Two entirely different concepts. Either way, never heard of it happening before...
