Dear Amarok People,

I would find it useful if I could search the sql database even for stuff that is on a removable HD which presently is disconnected.

The application would be that if one member of our family takes the removable HD with the full MP3 collection somewhere, the others could still have a look at the contents of that removed MP3 collection through the Amarok interface.

Maybe this is already possible, but I did not find out how to do it.

this is already a "feature" of amarok, as long as you do no collection scan the files will be viewable and searchable, file access is only needed if you want to play it
