I wish the total disk space used within a playlist to be shown at the bottom of the playlist with the number of tracks and total play time. This way I can plan a playlist that would fit on a specific media device.
Anybody knows if there is a hidden way to get the total disk space required by a playlist? I could not find a way to get this information. If there is an official way to report a feature request, such as a Bugzilla database for Amarok, please let me know. |

That's a rather obscure request (although I do understand your need for it), and I doubt it would make it into Amarok proper. However, this could possibly be implemented as an Amarok script:

Greetings.
I fail why you find it obscure. But how would you create a playlist that would fit in a 1GB device, if you cannot figure out the total disk space the playlist requires? Copy to the device, find space is missing, delete, retry? Best regards, Hans Deragon |

Yeah, I agree, this seems pretty necessary. What's the point of having a media device support without this?
