I have a rather large playlist; 41843 tracks to be exact. It takes about 20 minutes for the Window to appear after clicking the launch icon. My machine isn't ancient either (Core 2 6600, 2GB).

Could you look into speeding this up?

What could be the reason to have such a large playlist? Wouldn't it be more reasonable to define a dynamic playlist if you want to stumble through your whole collection?

The playlist search functionality seems to be quicker than the collection view and changing the collection grouping is pretty slow.
