I wanted to know if there is a way to view each song in the local collection in a single line....scrolling is much faster than clicking each level this tends to be tedious and unnecesary. This also generates mistakes by adding compete genres, albums, artists to the playlist...even if there is an undo function (its probably there because of repeated mistakes by developers). Thanks for the help.

Regarding the suggestion I would like that the collection view could be changed like the playlist view....in other words add the playlist view flexibility to the collection side of the program

...cant wait for the 2.4 version, I think by this version amarok will be full grown.

Flat collection view is already implemented in Amarok 2.2.2, to be released on Monday.
