Hi all,
I just wrote quick and dirty a small php code to retrieve statistics of amarok2. I use Kubuntu Karmik (9.10) with KDE 4.4.0 and amarok 2.2.2 but it should works on any amarok 2.x version running with mysql. How it works : - You need a apache + mysql + php installed on your favorite amarok2 workstation - download http://glopglop.net/phpmyamarok2stats/phpmyamarok2stats.tar.gz - unzip into a directory your apache2 can access it (/var/www/ usually) - modify index.php by inserting your own login/password/databasename - test it by opening it in your favorite browser with something like http://127.0.0.1/phpmyamarok2stats/ I warn you : it's a pure quick and dirty dev, so the code is bad and slow. But, well, it's a beginning, and feel free to modify the SQL code to feet your own needs. By the way, did someone now if it's possible to open a particular webpage in a widget under amarok 2 ? In fact I really wish to access my statistics page under amarok2? |

Hm, how about making a script?
http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Development/ ... _HowTo_2.0 As far as I can see there already is something similar: http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/lo ... ent=107836 http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/Ra ... ent=100541
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Or even better; how about making a new context view applet showing statistics information? This is something we really need! |

I never tried to program a script or a widget. Sounds hard to me, but, who knows
Let's see if I can do this... |
