Hello,
i was wondering if the option of showing only the songs added to the collection today or in the last week or in the last month is still avalaible on amarok 2.2.2 or not. i was not able to find it and i really miss it since amarok 1.4 thanks Marux |

Yes, you can search your collection many ways, including tracks added on a certain day, week or month, or before/since that time. Play with this:
added:1w added:>2d added:<1m d=day, w=week, m=month You can get even more precise results by searching for multiple items: added:>2d playcount=0 or added:<1m rating:>6 Remember that rating is the star rating, which is a 10 point system, so 6 is 3 stars. Explore your music, Valorie |

In the search field of the CollectionBrowser. There also is a search filter editor next to it.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Marux, what do you mean by "i am not able to use those commands." Do you get an error message? No results? What?
It helps to play around with them -- spacing is important, as is spelling. Believe me, I've tested each of these commands and concatenations myself in all recent builds/versions. Valorie |

Thanks for your explanation, marux. What you have commanded in your examples are tracks added exactly 1 day ago, 1 week ago, 1 month ago. If you added no music on those exact days, you will get no results.
Try using the 'more than' and 'less than' signs, > and < and I think you'll get the results you are expecting. 'added:<1w', for instance, gives me all the tracks I've added within this last week. Play with it a bit -- you can't break anything by searching. Explore your music, Valorie |

It works!!! thanks a lot!!!!!
It is very useful!!! But i suggest that it would be better to add a specific menu to select those commands like amarok 1.4 just to make amarok more friendly for people like me I love you guys and girls!!! Ciao from Italy, Marux |

I agree that these commands are not exactly intuitive.. I'd rather start scrolling the kilometer-lengthy collection than start recalling and writing any commands into the filter.

It's a bit like cycling, once you know it, you will remember
These filter options will be added to the Filter dialog for the upcoming versions, it was just not possible until now due to feature and string freeze.

Well, you can bookmark the commands if you like, or just click into the Edit Filter icon next to the search bar (looks like a sheet of paper with a pencil on it) and search from there. The complete list is available from the drop down menu. More in the Amarok Insider: http://amarok.kde.org/en/Insider/Issue_14 Explore your music, Valorie |
