I'm not sure if this is an Amarok problem or a 'indicator-applet' problem.
I'm running gnome on ubuntu 10.04 lts and Amarok appears in the indicator applet, but when I click on it, instead of popping up like it used to, a menu drops down, and in order the buttons are 'previous track, play/pause, stop, next track, last.fm:love, add position marker, restore, close." I think it is absurd to place the restore button directly above the close button. If I want to add tracks to amarok, or tweak some stuff, I don't want to accidentally close it. I would suggest redesigning the drop down menu to have the restore button at the top and to bring back the option of clicking on the icon in the indicator applet to restore. |

Well, the restore/minimize option does not belong on top, since it is not an Amarok play option, but a window option, so it is in the correct place. This is perfectly correct and works the same on all KDE apps.
And you are right, it is not an Amarok problem, it would be rather a KDE question.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Can you please post a screenshot of the issue? I haven't been able to reproduce...
