I cannot find the words how much i **** hate this.
If i ADD a folder to the list, it takes the same **** time all over again.

I'm using KDE 4.3.5 and Amarok 2.2.2 on Gentoo Linux with 8gt RAM and dualcore Amd 5000+ cpu.

Why does this piece of **** software take 10 minutes to go trough the folders?

perhaps you have a lot of playlists on the disk, that might be a problem atm

I have no playlists on my disks.
I have 1.5 terabyte disk and the /mp3 folder and it takes 10 minutes before Amarok starts up.
And no, I do not have any MySQL configured either and I won't do it either.

I used Amarok always and I loved the 1.x version.

Now you have done this, I cannot even change the FONTS in the userface!?

Next time i Install new linux, goodby Amarok

U goddam coding nerds dont have a clue what people want to do with software.
No, we dont want to change the COLOR of the user interface, we want BIGGER FONTS !!!'
And I don't want to wait for 10 minutes with high-end PC hardware if I just ADD a new folder to the playlist.

Very **** software, I have to say. And I'm not the only one. You guoys sure did ruin Amarok for good. You tried to make it the "biggest and the best" and what did you came up with?

Yeah, The Biggest and SLOWEST piece of ****

Well Amarok doesn't let you change the colour either. That, and the fonts, are changed in kde's system settings. Both work; you can have fonts so big your high-end PC hardware won't handle them if you so wish.

My machine is not much worse than yours and Amarok runs just fine. My original question regarding playlists is because I've seen some weird behaviour with those some time ago. There are other possible things I could ask of you, but it's probably pointless.

Nobody claimed Amarok is the "biggest and the best" (not that I know of). If you don't like Amarok 2, and there certainly are people who share that sentiment, go back and use Amarok 1, or any other excellent music player out there. Being a Gentoo user I assume that's not a problem for you.

Yeah its pointless to give you **** negative feedback cause you put some shield upon you and mumble "its working with me"

This isn't my systems Fault, this has been going on since the downgrade (yes downgrade) 1.4 --> 2.2 happened. You just blew it, admit it finally ! ADMIT IT !!

I'm just so goddam frustrated with this! sorry.
What is your explanation, when I put new folder to the playlist, Amarok crounches the HD for 5-10 minutes?

If i Restart Amarok, it goes the folder trough and it takes sometimes over 10 minutes!? this is a **** JOKE!!! Come on!

And what did you say about those fonts? I should go to KDE preferences and there change the size? Well that just **** obvious yeah right !

Well, fonts and colors are per-desktop settings, so that apps does integrate well visually into KDE workspace and don't look like a mess.

About negative feedback: try to include some usefull info instead of cursing words.
