I have a local server with some music available through windows shares.
I can only access the music with Amarok if I mount the directory with cifs. However KDE has very nice KIO slaves which can do the same. I would prefer a option were I can specifiy some urls like: smb://server/directory or even sftp://user@server/directory Now, Amarok can try to find the server and if it does, it can show the music in the local collection (similar to removable devices).
