Hi,
A number of my tracks have odd names like Great Song (featuring super artist) This causes the lyric fetching to fail. As a feature enhancement, I would like to propose that a dialog to popup when the search fails to allow the entry of a new name. Thus avoiding the problem. As lyric fetching is automatic, it would probably be best to only have the popup when the refetch lyrics button is pressed. As a side note, when editing lyrics when the lyrics were not found, it would be nice to delete the message "Lyrics not found. Sorry." Highlighting text to replace with previously highlighted text doesn't work well with the standard X copy/paste features. Hope you like this idea. -Patrick |

Hi Patrick,
Amarok relies heavily on good, accurate tagging. Fortunately, that's about to get easier. See this blog post about what's coming up: http://amarok.kde.org/blog/archives/119 ... marok.html , especially the section headed: "MusicBrainz auto-tagging from Sergey." Until the next release, you can use Musicbrainz easily by installing Picard, and running some of your badly-tagged albums through that. Powerful and easy. Valorie |
