Amarok on a laptop as HiFi audio component:

I'm wondering if there is a feature to enable
+ a full screen view and
+ a integration with Logitch Harmony infrared remotes.

Think of the use case where you place a laptop with Amarok running
as an audio player on top of your stereo system.
You would want to see the next three songs, time left and bit rate
with big letters.
And you would want to control Amarok through the infrared sensor on the laptop and your universal remote control, most likely a Logitech Harmony.

Any suggetions?

Thanks for the hint, but there's not much info to be found there, which would be applicable to KDE 4.5.

You should have a look at lirc which allows you to steer various remote control devices: http://www.lirc.org/

One question remains, if there is or will be a kind of full screen view in Amarok, which would make it possible to read basic playlist info from a distance.?
