Hi,
I'm under Kubuntu 11.10, and I can't manage to get my Ipod Classic working.
I followed theses steps described in the Amarok wiki:

-Erase ALL contents on the iPod (easy)
-Simply launch Amarok

I get this message:

Code: Select all

Media Device: could not find iTunesDB on device mounted at /media/IPOD (RYP). Attempt to initialize your iPod?

Clicked OK, and selected Ipod Classic in the drop-down menu, and:

Code: Select all

iPod was not initialized: failed to initialize the iPod

Anyone has the same problem ?

EDIT: Solved: I just had to go back to windows, sync my iPod one time with iTunes and retry with amarok and that was done.
