Here is the initial KDE splash for the Live CD. We went with the Moodin splash engine on this.
Here is a scaled screenshot of the splash in action. I have also included a link here to the tar.bz. So download it add it to your splash screens and take it for a spin. The idea behind this approach is to transition from the bootsplash into the splash screen in a seamless manner. Besides the bootsplash is so damn sexy we just had to have a couple more seconds with it. This version of the KDEsplash will be open for "realistic" change requests until November 30th. Unless it is perfect as is. Here is a scaled screenshot of the updated splash in action. Change log: Removed the magnatune logo. Cleaned up the edges of the wolf.

Nice, but what strikes me about this one is that it almost seems as if Amarok was made by Magnatune. I'm all for giving Magnatune the credit they deserve, but it's just a cooperation we have with them. It's not like they created or sponsored the LiveCD.

So remove the Magnatune logo from the KDE splash for sure.
Then add the live CD logo in it's place. Or Go with no logo keep it clean and simple. Which one of these would be the best solution in your opinions? |

What do you think about whitening the wolf's eye when the system loads the last section?
I don't know whether it's feasible or not. |

That would be a very interesting effect for sure. We will look into how to do this. If someone here is a Moodin Master speak up. Other wise I am going to need to go code diving.
