The icons are installed in the /amarok/icons/hicolor folder. The location of the amarok application directory is distro specific. So a quick filesystem search for amarok may help.
It would be great if you would submit any icons that you create to this thread. |

The original invitation still stands.
We are interested in what icons you will be using to replace the current Amarok default. The artist team is in the process of updating the default Amarok set. Part of what we do is try to come up with the best images possible to communicate what each icon is to be used for. So the input you may be able to provide by showing us which ones work best for you could be pretty valuable. |

If it is less that 300 kb you can attache it here. If the file you create is larger than that you can upload it here. Just remember to compress it. tar.bz2 is pretty tight. You will need to get an account but the upload limit accommodates large file sizes. Thanks for playing.

Hi Again!
I attached the changes i made to the original Amarok icons: http://open-collab.org/file.php/70/modd ... or.tar.bz2 I replaced the original icons with these on my machine and im very pleased! As i said its not my original artwork (though most of the icons ive created i practically build from scratch using backgrounds from one icons, symbols from another etc..) so i guess if you plan in the future to use any element there you should credit the original artist where relevant In any case i had fun making them so if you don't think they are extremely ugly (as i said i am not an artist ) i don't mind making more or anything you guys may need Best wishes! I'm not willing to download your file, but would be happy to look at a screenshot. Can you supply that?

There should be some tool to extract them, but i'm as lost as you're on how to find it |
