SVG Star Icons

Wed Feb 14, 2007 11:45 am
Hello, I'm doing a fullscreen version of my kicker applet Kirocker Music Display (http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=52869).

But the star icons are very big, they look pixelised.
Amarok provides those icons:
- /usr/share/apps/amarok/images/smallstar.png
- /usr/share/apps/amarok/images/star.png

They are 32x32 pixels.
I need at least 64x64 pixels, and if possible 128x128 or better: the SVG files.

Where can I find big sizes for those icons?
Or where can I find the SVG files for those icons?

I released a beta version of the full screen mode of Kirocker Music Display:
http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=52869

By using it, you can see how stars are pixelized.
I there is no way to get the sources for the stars, I would be forced to use other stars, and that will not intergrate with the Amarok theme.

Also, notice how the borders of the control buttons (play/pause, previous, next track) are somewhat pixelized.
I used the original 64 pixels version, but they are perhapse not rendered very well.
Where can I get the SVG sources of the Amarok control button icons?
I remember I've seen an SVG file with all the icons, but I can't find it anymore.

In the sourcecode:

amarok/src/images/icons/svg

Ah, thanks very much.

And for the star icons, I suppose it's from CrystalSVG, isn't it?
I remember that I never found the SVG source of CrystalSVG because the author doesn't provide them, isn't it?

Definitely not from Crystal. Someone made them for us, but I can't remember who. You could check the svn history on websvn.kde.org.
