I'm new to computer gaming (and thus Gluon (and thus this forum)), but I came across a Free software game creation contest that I thought the community might be interested it.

http://lpc.opengameart.org/

Liberated Pixel Cup is a two-part competition: make a bunch of awesome free culture licensed artwork, and then program a bunch of free software games that use it.

As a lover of KDE, I think it would be pretty neat Gluon was represented.

And who knows, maybe I'll write a game (or team up with some of you) for it! (Although the types of games that I have in mind are different than the ones they're looking for in this contest).

Nice to hear you thought of Gluon, and thanks for sharing this information. :-)

Our main communication happens on #gluon (freenode), so you can even drop by at some point, if you feel like doing so.
