It should work out of the box in Ubuntu 11.04+. I used to use one in 11.04 without needing to install drivers (21UX also works, using in 12.04 with no issues).

Ok, so I'll try again. I switched to ubuntu 12.04 it might work better.

Hey, I'm always more or less around the IRC channel ; and when I'm doing something specific my nickname in it is written like that ; deevad|away .
If not , just land in the channel , and write my name ; it will send me a notification. I'm finishing a commission right now, so I'm connected till late.
