Hi!

Could everyone who has windows please test Krita Sketch for me? I get some reports that the final installer cannot find the plugin it needs to load jpg images and crashes on saving... And I cannot reproduce it on any windows system (7 or 8) that I have. I want to get the installer into Intel's App-Up appstore, but this issue is blocking :-(

You can download it here:

http://heap.kogmbh.net/downloads/kritas ... 9.21.0.msi

More info:

Thanks!

Hi Boud,

I have just installed Krita Sketch :-)

Here is my hardware:
Netbook Asus 1215N (Eee Pc)
Display 12,1" HD
Windows 7 Premium - 64 bit (6.1, build 7601)
INTEL CPU ATOM D525 - 1,80 GHz dual core
RAM 2048 MB
NVIDIA ION GRAPHIC CARD

Everything I have tried works fine so far...
No crash whatsover occurred.
I have tried to add some layers, paint a bit and so forth...

On my computer, Krita Sketch can not find "easily" my jpg images when I look for them in my folders.
It is a bit weird because, most of the time, Krita does not visualize my jpg images (and thus I can not open them....)

Sometimes, completely on random, Krita visualize these same jpeg (on the same directory)
When I open and modify them and I save my change everything works (that, is I have NO crash when saving these jpg images)
When I open the same jpg image just saved everything works as expected.

Hm, it doesn't seem to work on my Windows XP computer. I can load until the "Create New" screen, but all the options after that just cause the program to close. Then again, you can probably ignore Windows XP, the only reason I'm still using that is because the computer first came with Vista, which was so goddamn awful and Slow that I downgraded in a hurry.

Tried this on:

Samsung Series 7 Slate XE700T

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
CPU/ Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-2467M Processor 1.6 GHz (2.3 GHz turbo) (http://ark.intel.com/products/56858)
RAM: 4 GB
Display: 1366 x 768 HD LED backlit 400 nits, 16:9
Storage: 128GB SSD (mSATA)
Graphics: Intel® HD Graphics 3000
Dimensions: 11.66" (W) x 7.24" (H) x 0.51" (H)

Didn't try .jpg images but 2 finger rotation didn't work or missing.
Interface seemed simple, but I would have liked "presets" and "tools" on top of each other (on the left side of screen). Then be able to switch between them quickly.
Now I just drag tools from top center to left when I need it and then drag presets back after I've used tools :P
Didn't crash and seemed to work mostly smoothly except when increasing brush size too much.

Dont work for me.

Toshiba Portege M200
Wacom Penabled
Intel Centrino M 1,8 GHz
1GB Ram
Geforce FX Go 5200
Display: 1400x1050
Windows XP - Tablet Edition 2005
Service Pack 2

Can start Krita Sketch but while starting to draw (Create New) system crash.
Same behavior like valerievk described.

I'm looking forward to new fantastic krita-versions.
