Please see this pic for Refernce :

I appreciate that the strokes in Krita move well with the stylus tip movement giving smoother strokes than GIMP.
But at the same time ,at the curves, the stroke does not appear like a smooth curve(Example : in the image, the middle stroke of the eyebrows drawn in Krita does not look as smooth as in GIMP).I want to see this issue to be resolved. While this is not a big problem in comics, its a great problem for Car designers and product designers where Accuracy in strokes is very demanding.

That's already implemented and will be in krita 2.7: see http://www.valdyas.org/fading/index.cgi ... thing.html

In the figure, you can see that at the eyebrows(both left and right),the middle curve appears more straight than that when I draw on TV Paint Animation or GIMP.Straight lines and very slight pixel effect is more in krita in the image, uploaded on Flickr Website.

Smoothness has two meanings.

Meaning 1)Smoothness can be synchronisation of stroke with the movement of stylus pen, which Krita 2.7 should already have, which is better than GIMP.

Meaning2)More curviness of the stroke at corners, which is less in Krita than in TV Paint animation or GIMP.Straight lines and very slight pixel effect is more in krita in the image, uploaded on Flickr Website.

There are only three things left in Krita to be considered,to make it the best and ultimate sketching Aplication of the world.
1) Lasso Tool Precision.
2) More smoother curves (Meaning 2).
3) Bug Fixing regarding crashes and other related issues.

Hello,it's not a bug,I was in a confussion.Sorry for bothering you.But theres definately a difference between strokes in GIMP and Krita. Its not in terms of Quality though. If you wish, you may delete this thread to prevent any confussion within the Krita Community.

Once again, heartingly, very sorry, but definately, lasso tool needs improvement in Precision.
