Mtpaint is a simple raster graphic editor with rich of features.
It will be nice if KDE could import those features in KolourPaint or Krita. Source : mtpaint.sourceforge.net/

Sorry for not giving detailed information. Actually some of its filters are very interesting, but I'll focused on a most interesting one for me.
A features that probably cannot seen in another raster image editor (even GIMP or Krita) is its color quantizer filters. Currently mtpaint has color quantizer algorithm that cannot easily found in another raster image editor, such as Pairwise Nearest Neighbor (PNN), Dennis Lee (DLquant), and XiaolinWu. These filters are very useful for pixel art artist especially for converting high depth color image to lower depth color image (e.g. 100,000 colors to 256 colors) without visually loss of its quality. Another color quantizer filters that also worth to be included are neuquant and scolorq. Screenshot:

Moving this to the Krita forum.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

hm... Well, Krita doesn't support indexed color at all, and I'm afraid we don't have plans to add support for indexed color.
