I'm interested in the DVD but I don't want box and disk, will there ever be the option to purchase a digital copy?

Sure, though that's something I'll have to do on an individual base because our website isn't setup for that. If you buy the Muses DVD and send me (boud@valdyas.org) mail, I'll upload the iso to a google drive or something and send you the link.

Well, would it be possible to get (buy) digital version of this nice title (i.e. without DVD, printed booklet, etc.) ?
If so, how much cheaper it would be? And, are you going to release it for free in (not so very distant) future like "Krita training vol. 1" was decided to? |

We have no plans at the moment to make it available as a free download: I still have a hundred copies left and, honestly, we need to money to pay for the development fund, so Dmitry can go on working full-time on Krita.
That's also the reason why I hesitate to give a discount for download-only... The actual dvd + postage is fraction of the full price. What you pay for is the work done on the tutorials and the support for Krita. |

I just purchased and downloaded Muses Krita Training Vol. 2 by Ramon Miranda yesterday.
I have only browsed through the videos, and they look informative. Only problem I can tell you is that the menus in the first tutorials are not easy to read and the font sizes are too small. Not good when describing workspaces and configuring Krita. He should have either increased the video size or resolution or use a different OS with bigger fonts. Or increased the size of the system fonts. |
