Hi Ghevan thanks for the reply. Yes i understand but i meant it more in this direction: For example, there is one layer you just don´t want to merge at all but you still want to merge all other layers with the layer information together ,you either make a group like you said ,or cut the layer out and after merging the others you can paste it back . I just thought a merge visible or something like a lock where when you flatten the image the layer which isn´t visible won´t be merged together ,would be less of a hussle than to try to work around ?

Hi all,
just two things in advance to be clear: I love Krita and, because of little time, I didn't read all the documentation available for Krita. So these are my suggestions after using Krita daily for a game project, using it as texture painting and concept drawing. 1. Brush size: because I'm working on small texture size (256^2, 512^2), I have to scale the brush size in order to work, that's logical, of course, but when I re-select a previous used brush, whom size I already scaled, Krita gives me the default size for that brush, forcing me to resize the brush again. My suggestion is the size of all used brushes should be stored for the current painting session, so it's obvious that I'll have all the brush at useful size for the current image dimensions. Their default size will be available on new image creation or after restarting Krita. 2. I'd like to control brush opacity in a way similar of brush size, without going to the opacity slider 3. When in opening file dialog, I'd like to have a preview of selected image file 4. I'm not sure about this, but is it possible to have the gray/white checkerboard zooming together with the document in order to have an idea of pixel size? 5. When creating new brush, it seems to me that the preview white area for checking brush behaviour and creating icon for the brush is similar to the document zoom: if you zoom in a part of image, then create/modify a brush, the preview area has the same zoom. Well, they shouldn't be correlated. 6. Using cursor keys with transform tool to move by one pixel a layer or a selection. Maybe SHIFT + cursor keys to move by 10 pixels 7. A better way to make selections (adding, subtracting...) with keyboard and not with icons 8. Delete layers even if invisible. The truth behind that is less click I have to do for a task, faster I go. 9. Merging layers with transparency masks should ask what to do: a) merging masks b) using top or low layer mask c) apply masks 10. It will be fantastic the chance to choose a background color for layers and folders in the layers window in order to have a better read, especially when there are a lot of them 11. CTRL+left mouse no more has to move the image 12. The color picker option shows channel values in BGR order, I know, it's not a big problem, but is it possible to have in RGB order? If I wrote something already implemented or redundant, I'll delete it and I ask excuse in advance. Let me know what you think. |
