Is this a permanent change? I loved the sketch brushes so much and now they're gone... Is there a way to get them back in the new version or do i have to install the old one?

No, it's a mistake by the Kubuntu packagers. They separated the kritasketch app from the main krita package and thought that the sketch brush belonged in there. If you install the kritasketch package you'll get the sketch brush in krita desktop, too.

Thats great news! But i cant find any info about getting krita sketch on the site. How do i download it? (I'm using Ubuntu)

I just added it -- but with the next update, it won't be necessary anymore.
