I love Krita, here a few feedback.

I really love Krita, I used it for few days and it is near perfect. Congratulation!

As a developer, I know that it is some times hard to get feedback from users, that is why I would like to feedback a few things I think they may be improved.

- Possibility to cancel operations with esc: If for example, I am drawing a path, usually i want to cancel, but currently ESC does not allow it.
- Grids: it is easy to show the grid, but for a new user, hide it is not intuitive. Maybe a other button very close to these "Edit Grid" to hide them may help.
- Opacity should not be changed by brush preset: When I select a brush preset, the opacity is also reseted. IMHO
- I do not know if it is currently possible, but PNG files seem to be saved without alpha values. PNG are one of the best format for Textures, Tiles, etc. because of the alpha values, so that is a huge handicap.
- Problem with scrolling: Scroll allow to zoom, and Ctrl+scroll allow to move, but the step is huge, for example, 1 scroll movement is moving about 50% of my image width, which made the scroll near useless.
- Cursor info: I do not know if it already exist, info about the exact cursor position is useful for some kind of pictures. Something like Position: 540x832

I don't know about the others, but when you save a PNG, you should get a dialog box with the PNG export options. In that dialog box there's an option to save the transparency information.

You are right, I do not know why I did not see it before.

It does seem like the sort of thing that should be checked by default, though.
