I've been messing with krita for a bit now. Love some of the features it has over photoshop for drawing. Though I had an idea for one and thought I might share it.

On the pop up palette when you right click, what if you were allowed to paint in the currently selected color and brush anywhere around the circle as if you were using an actual palette. Perhaps even with some smudging so you could smudge different ones together to choose from. Then to exit one would just right click again, which is already one of the two ways to exit it anyways.

I'm not so sure about. I think it might be confusing for people who want to closed. The same thing can be achieved by having the dockers next to the canvas.
