Is there a setting I'm missing with Krita regarding using Krita on a Surface Pro 3? I have no pressure sensitivity when using the pen. I have tried 2.8.3 and 2.8.79.4. And I've tried playing with the pressure curve to no avail. I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere, I tried a search, but alas didn't find anything relevant. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well... Rick Rodriguez from Surfaceproartist (http://surfaceproartist.com/blog/2014/5 ... hat-doesnt) mailed me to tell me he had tested Krita with both NTrig's beta and final wintab drivers and that he got perfect pressure sensitivity out of the box. On the other hand. we've had someone come by on irc who said he couldn't get it to work. I have no idea what's up, since we haven't got a device and Microsoft hasn't been responsive to enquiries about a development unit.

It's a lovely device, but I can't afford to plonk down 1000 euros for one, and besides, it's not available in Europe yet anyway.

What you could do, after installing the very latest ntrig wintab drivers, is to also install debugview, start that, then start Krita and attach the output here: it should say something about the tablet device being detected. If not, well, that probably means it isn't detected.

Well... just downloaded some Windows KB updates (optional ones) on my surface pro 3 and voila! Pen pressure is active in Krita. Woot!

Yay!

Odd - I installed the 64 bit Wintab driver from ntrig and do not get pressure support with x64 Krita 2.8.3. The same driver with x86 Krita 2.8.3 gives pressure sensitivity beautifully. Is there any debug output I can share to help with this?

Ahah! I just got a bunch of Windows updates and a Firmware update yesterday with Patch Tuesday and pressure sensitivity works on both x64 and x86 Krita!! Yay!
