I think that Corel is indeed looking at Krita these days. Didn't they also introduce mirrored and multihand painting after we did? I know that Krita gets mentioned on their corel painter factory forums quite a bit.

Boudewijn, take it as a compliment. This only means you guys are doing a great job.

I mean, this is actually an achievement. When you have Industry standard commercial software paying close attention to what you're doing and following your footsteps you know you've flipped the "rules of the game". ^-^

Indeed :-) Though I sort of feel for the Corel Painter developers -- I know that their team got gutted some years ago, and it seems that Corel is starving it still.

i think Flame Painter had this before Krita
and Corel has taken it way further...

...but it doesn't really matter as long as the development continues. we all learn from each other
