I have created a portable version of Krita in http://portableapps.com/ format, it leaves no registry entries but I was not be able to make it that it will not also leave folders and files behind after running on host PC. So it is not fully portable. I am wondering if anyone could make a launcher used by http://portableapps.com/ so it would be fully portable,it is just entering some code in ini file. If anyone is interesting I will provide a link of what I have done so far.

Yes, please show us what you've done: Krita already never writes anything to the Windows registry. As for writing the config files and using the temp directory, that can be set with the usual KDE environment variables. If you'd add a batch file that sets those before calling krita.exe, it should be good enough. See https://techbase.kde.org/KDE_System_Adm ... _Variables for more information.

Here is the link https://mega.co.nz/#!fglRXTRa!HEaF8tX2LDuTpYr-UIMVbyiYyUcjeqVIVEI-Fqb2gqg for self-extracting archive, run it and everything is in folder named KritaPortable.

Krita on OSX already is pretty portable, except that krita by default saves settings and so on in the user's home folder. But you can run directly from the DMG if you want to.

I have tried writing some batch file but it is not working. After running krita.exe it leaves folder in AppData called "krita", inside it three folders 1.cache-, 2.share and 3.temp-. In "share" there are three folders 1.apps, 2.config and 3.kde4. In "apps" folder there are folders calligra and krita. Hope I am not asking too much, but can you show example batch file. Thanks

It was simple, though. I just entered what folder to be created or moved from AppData after running krita.exe using KritaLauncher.ini. |
