Alright, so as you may have heard by now, we're going to release 2.9 on the 26th of February!

One of the things we like to do with every release is show off images from our users. However, we need your permission for that! If you have made images with Krita 2.9 features, or have made cool images with Krita in general, we would like to have your permission to use these in our Gallery, the release notes PDF and most importantly the page for our upcoming kickstarter!

Images can be emailed to foundation@krita.org.

We will not use these for merchandise without your explicit permission.

actual deadline? guessing you need stuff before the release

The kickstarter is a different date to the release? just curious.

The kickstarter will kick off after the release -- hopefully soon after! The release is scheduled for the 26th, barring any new release critical bugs being found.
