I saw this today on twitter:
http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/4839953406/r ... bvb1VFTANQ It looks like the first book on Krita came out in Japan... Is this a real book, or a translation of wiki pages and tutorials? In any case, I want a copy for the Krita Foundation archives! |

It's a real book.
It contains quite the information on tips and tricks by the Japanese-side artists. Now I'm getting interested to find a copy locally as well. By the way in the Amazon link, it states that it's going on sale by this Thursday (March 26). It'll probably take some time before it can get to my local Kinokuniya branch... if it gets there, that is. |

Now I've read the book in a book store. Although it is based on Krita 2.8 and have some wrong explanations, it isn't bad handbook, picking up many features. As for us, we should improve the official guide more and provide more detailed free guide for Japanese users.
