Well, I'm not sure how quick these can be implemented, but here's my "guides pack" suggestion:

Guides and guide layers:
0. Implement guide layers: implement a vector-like layer type to save a guide, and allow you to toggle it on/off (when applicable), and toggle the visibility on/off. It can be top-level or local. I'm not sure how hard it'd be to implement. Basically what I wrote here long ago:
viewtopic.php?f=137&t=109979

I marked this as '0' in the sense that if any of the features below are picked, the first feature will count as 2 features because the above needs to be implemented first. However, every additional guide feature requested will only count as 1 new feature request. Or you can just count it this as a freebie.

Guides pack (the features below appear as new guide tools)
1. Composition pack: custom vector shapes to make composition easier: thirds, spiral, golden means, and maybe a few different variations of human proportions.
This could be a separate feature: a mannequin guide with perspective options. You can basically bend it at the joints and the perspective will adjust accordingly.
2. Custom grids: a tool which allows you to set down and edit grids on-canvas, with drag, click-drag and alt-drag options to resize, increase the number of grids in various ways, toggle perspective options etc.
3. Perspective guideline: whatever happened to this? Do it!
http://www.davidrevoy.com/article159/de ... ctive-tool
4. Symmetry guide layers: options include boundaries, whether it's symmetry or anti-symmetry or both.
5. Radial symmetry guide layer: same as above, radial symmetry version.
6. Tiling guide layers: drop a grid, anything you draw in one gets duplicated in the rest.
Extra tiling groups can also count as extra features.

We already have 4-6 in various forms, it's just a matter of porting them to a guide layer version so you can easily save and toggle them on/off visible/not (plus local guides can easily be moved around along with the parent layer).

An alternative to guide layers is to have guide masks. I think there's room for both. Guide masks are basically like transformation masks and the extra output isn't editable independently of the original, but it could be better if you're making patterns where you only want to edit the original. For example, guide layers are better for organic components like faces where each side will be shaded differently and such, so you want to toggle on and off, whereas for patterns, you may want to adjust the position of the symmetry, the type of tiling etc. If you also implement masks, it'd become:
7. Symmetry mask
8. Radial symmetry mask
9. Tiling mask

10. - ?. : Kinematic templates pack: not sure how hard they are to port. One feature for each here:
http://youtu.be/jruHqcGbelA
https://hci.cs.uwaterloo.ca/research/kinematic

Basically something that affects your mouse behavior in certain ways, line making lines straighter but not completely straight, etc. The code is there, so it'll depend on the time needed to implement them.

By the way, did anyone ever ask for a preview when creating a new document? It only needs to show the dimensions and background color (but casual users may find this less intimidating than a screen full of settings).

1) increase filters performance (maybe openGL rendering)
2) new advanced selection tool similar to GIMP Free Selection tool (combined poligonal and lasso selection).
http://docs.gimp.org/en/gimp-tool-free-select.html
3) better text support
4) multiple layers manipulations (moving, grouping selected layers)

Some good suggestions, I'll try to summarize those that I see good for extended goals, though some are big and may require several slots:

-Full recording (can be combined with adding scripting, so recording would just generate an editable script ?)
-Scrpting (see above)
-Animated image formats. Not sure about GIF, but why not animated PNG. Spritemap would be very useful. Animated brush would be in fact another one.
-SVG import / export (editable)
-Stacked brushes: combine two or more brushes in a single stroke. (like multi brushes but selecting different presets on each brush and choosing how they are aligned)->https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343423
-Text Tool: use svg + css for storing text and typography(may not make it in, because this needs proper love , or at least would take more than one slot)
-Quick access to brush rotation, opacity, flow, softness (those are the most common for the pixel brush engine; could be all brush tip parameters, or maybe just a user defined subset)
-HUD for canvas rotation, zoom, pan, mirror and reset
-Make the multi-layer selection work much more generally
-Improve grid/grid tool
-Add guide layers/masks to organize and store sets of reusable guides (guide-layer is active when painting on layers below, and guide-mask only when painting on the layer it is attached to.) viewtopic.php?f=137&t=109979&p=258902#p258902
-Composition aids as vector shapes (thirds, spiral, golden mean)
-Editable file layers
-Add images to the shape brush
-Fill non-closed areas with the fill tool.
-Fixing the remaining resource manager issues
-Angle snap for the straight line tool.
-Color correction in opengl for icc
-Arrange and distribute for layers - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=338002
-Scale from center pivot - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344263
-Scale transform should have other units i.e. pixel, mm, centimeter etc other than percentage in tool option. - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=342711
-Fix and improve the color palette support
-OCIO baking (including LUT and other settings affecting the view) https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=345993
-Fix OCIO color management issues with some test configs (ask you-know-who on irc for more details ;) )

About the rewards, no idea to add yet, I keep thinking about it..

No need special rewards here. In my opinion, the best rewards are the features/improvements. For physicall object ; I would love a sheet of Krita logos stickers ( little ones, medium one, a big one for pasting on graphic tablet, or laptop case, smartphone ).

Features ideas :

Krita ppa
A repo maintained by Krita team easy to use for all Ubuntu LTS + Linux Mint + Elementary users to get the last stable version 2.9.2 , eg :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:krita/krita
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install krita

An easy and stable text tool
- A unified text tool easy to use ( Multiline )
- Japanese vertical writing support
- Robust to do copy/paste
- Layer effect presets available to do really cool text decoration out of the box

A global color-picker
In the advanced color docker, a color picker icon able to pick anywhere on the screen.

A carrousel of brush preset history
Same as Alt+Tab does for windows management, something similar to browse the last 5 preset used, and toggle with the last.
It would be an enhancement of the actual '/' key feature , with a 'On-Canvas-display' widget.

Shift enhancement
Enhancement of the Shift key behavior ; with a sort of low opacity radial menu around it to switch to other control mode : brush angle, opacity , flow , ratio , spacing ; etc... directly on canvas and interactive.

1) More love for vector tools
2) Vector masks!
3) Improve the layer panel - make it easier to distinguish between items/layers and to find items.
4) Context menus context Menus context menus - i don't need the brush/color plate under right click when i have for example the select tool... i would rather see a context menu with most used options for the current tool. For example(select tool) Select all, expand, transform, shortcuts for corresponding dockers(show/hide) - especially useful, sometimes it's hard to fined the right docker. Ideally, editable context menus.

This is just my top4 the list is a lot bigger :)

As illustrator and "comic artist" here are my opinion.
I think the 3.0 build should be the best stable and optimized version as possible in Krita history!
As professional cg artist, in my opinion this two things count the most. Third is for more faster workflow, means shortcuts works well, stable and keep it all together. In personal projects the time maybe can be managed well, but with deadlines, and different clients and projects, time and stability should be priority.
What I want to say, it is important for a new campaign features and new stuff, but please take time to fix all bugs what krita already have.

As some features to propose, here are my ideas
1. Better and stable text tool (if Krita suppose to be a good comic book tool. David mentioned about this earlier also)
2. A fast CMYK preview when you work in RGB, if its possible with shortcut. (this is more a request not necessary a feature)
3. When use a selection tool, some + shortcuts like Shift for add selection and alt to remove can be very welcomed.
4. Some solutions for the layer group style and filters, and multi layer selection transform without grouping them!

For me if the team can finish the upcoming feature with layer styles, and can build a super stable and optimized for higher resolution files and brushes version of krita, with off course a good text tool! WOW, that would be something awesome!!!.

Again, this is more a point of view as illustrator and maybe comic artist!
Thanks

Some of these points are on the list of stretch goals actually -- more work on making layer multi-select work with more tools, or selection tool improvements, for instance. The text tool isn't, and that's because it's a huge task, and we've given precedence to performance improvements and animation for this year.

I've actually got an idea about the text tool, but that needs to wait until after the Qt5 port.

As for version numbering: I suspect that we'll be releasing versions of 2.9 at least until the end of the year. 3.0 is the first version ported to Qt5, and I'm not sanguine about how stable it'll be. Here's why: http://www.valdyas.org/fading/index.cgi ... taqt5.html . The Kickstarter release will be 3.1, in all probability.

Still, we want to add the normal shortcuts, like shift for adding a selection. Been on the todo for about ten years.

We have experience with a previous kickstarter, so I wouldn't worry about taxes and shipping(we take them into account).

I don't understand what prefundia is, their about is really vague?
