Then you probably use an older version of Ubuntu for which the backports ppa doesn't create new packages (this is not up to us, it's what the kubuntu people do). You can use Krita lime instead.

Yes, because for Kubuntu, that's the official way to get backports of applications. The Krita lime ppa we maintain ourselves is unofficial...
