Hi Kriters. I talked to Boud this morning about features and he said to get a forum thread open to see if others would like it as well.

The last few weeks I've been using the reference image docker a lot, which got me thinking about its functionality. As it is, it's very nice to have your ref images right next to your project with the toggle to flip through multiple select images you pick. I love this.

My problem with it is the navigation scheme. It's completely unlike the normal document navigation. Currently you can left-, right- or middle-click and drag on the image to zoom into a particular area of the image and this is the only interactive navigation function. To zoom out, you must go to the zoom dropdown at the top left and play with the slider; to pan, you need to use the scroll bars. To contrast, you can use middle-click and drag in the document to pan, ctrl-middle-click drag to zoom, etc. It would be nice and intuitive to have consistency between the two.

How do you all feel about this? It's already very useful and great to have, but it's just inconsistent.

I thought I saw a post about this a while ago (over a year ago). But anyway, I think this would be fantastic!! I've actually stopped using the reference image docker when the multi-document feature was added since it is quicker to use.
