Yep! It comes bundled with 3.0 now, I believe. It's a shell extension that allows you to view thumbnails in windows explorer.
You can also find a separate installer of the shell extension here: https://krita.org/en/item/krita-3-0-rel ... -released/ |

The kra file is a zip format with a png inside on the top level named 'mergedimage.png'. If they can get that out, they can preview the image.

What a forum... I jumped through all the hoops to tell them just that, but I'm not allowed to post. Dileep, you'll have to do that.

Irfan refected .kra. It seems, opening archives is not their thing. I wanted Irfanview also for the batch conversion to .jpg that I use for .psd. Too bad.
Anyways, from this thread I have learned that I could use winzip to view a .kra in case of no Krita installed. Anyone got any ideas for viewers? There is an opensource .cbz viewer called Quivi. I am going try mailing them. |

Looks like they're incapable of understanding the difference between wanting to show images inside an archive and showing an image that happens to be in a file format that's based on zip. And the "I don't like XML very much" reply is pretty bigoted...

that's it for irfan then..
I renamed a .kra file to .zip and this quivi software opened it! I have already mailed them. http://quivi.sourceforge.net/ |
