I am truly happy about this. The last version I tried was one released somewhere in summer, and it had that lag whenever I put down a stroke, no matter the resolution, doc size, or brush size. So that put me off.
Just now I decided to download the latest version being curious if it was fixed, and to my pleasant surprise, it's rendering way faster than Photoshop, the render time is almost non-detectable, it even equals with the brush render time in clip studio paint (manga studio), which I thought couldn't be rivalled. GOOD JOB !!! Krita might be a tool in my box anyway |

Which version did you try?

The one that had lag? I don't even know anymore, hated the lag so much, I uninstalled the tool and deleted the installer So I don't know if it was a 2.X or 3.X.X, but this one, this one doesn't have it anymore so I am very glad because the UI has an inviting feel to me, which I rarely have with the majority of art software available. PS: Although the intent of Krita is digital painting only, I would be even more ecstatic if it had vector drawing. But hey, can't have it all |

Nah, this one
And yes, Krita already has vector drawing, and we're working on making it better: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kr ... rt-awesome |

I'm sorry what now?! I really thought you said that Krita has vector already? Not sure if I heard that right. WOW ahaha... oke, not sure how to respond to that because I didn't expected it to be part at all. Oh man, definitely going to keep a closer eye to the vector dev. I downloaded 3.0.1.1., 64bit (non-portable), working with a Wacom Bamboo. |
