Couple suggestions for next update

Tue Dec 20, 2016 1:34 pm
Grouping couple of layers changes their blending to what Group layer has. Impossible to have different blendings in a group is a pain. A Pass through blending like PS has would be nice.

Layer styles slows Krita extremaly, to the point that its is nearly impossible to work, even with one option selected. (moving, resizing that layers make Krita render image very slow)

Impossible to resize couple of selected layers, only the top one is grabbed. (workaround is to put them in group, resize and ungroup)

No save selection without a layer now. Would be great to have it in next update.

We have passthrough, it's the stone-wall icon on the group layer. We put it there because it is not a blending mode, but a change in the way things are rendered.

It is unlikely that we will have time to do these, so unless a volunteer looks into it(we are an open source project, we rely on volunteers), you will have to deal with it for now :(

I understand that and i am very grateful for all the work you have done so far and provide it for free. Those are just a suggestions for future, if you going to make Krita even better. I know you won't make them now, but those thing are worth look into in next updates to come.
