Installing krita on macOS

Tue Feb 21, 2017 6:23 pm
I follow the instructions mentioned in the 3rdparty folder in order to install krita on macOS. However, the following command:
Code: Select all
cmake --build . --config RelWithDebInfo --target ext_qt

gives me the following error:
Code: Select all
Scanning dependencies of target ext_qt
[ 50%] Creating directories for 'ext_qt'
[ 50%] Performing download step (download, verify and extract) for 'ext_qt'
-- ext_qt download command succeeded.  See also /Users/farid/krita/b/ext_qt/ext_qt-prefix/src/ext_qt-stamp/ext_qt-download-*.log
[100%] Performing patch step for 'ext_qt'
/bin/sh: $patch: command not found
make[3]: *** [ext_qt/ext_qt-prefix/src/ext_qt-stamp/ext_qt-patch] Error 127
make[2]: *** [ext_qt/CMakeFiles/ext_qt.dir/all] Error 2
make[1]: *** [ext_qt/CMakeFiles/ext_qt.dir/rule] Error 2
make: *** [ext_qt] Error 2

However, I have patch installed. For example, when I write
Code: Select all
patch --version
I get the following answer:
Code: Select all
GNU patch 2.7.5

Can anybody help me to solve the problem?
Thank you in advance.

We've had a similar issue for some people building on windows, and there the issue was that the environment variables weren't set properly. Maybe that is your issue as well?

Well, I think the environment variables are set as the instructions say.
The answer of
Code: Select all
echo $PATH
is
Code: Select all
/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/bin:/Users/farid/Qt/5.8/ios/bin:/Users/farid/krita/i/bin:/Applications/CMake.app/Contents/bin:/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/Library/TeX/texbin

Is something missed?
