This time it's not a topic for getting technical help with Surface Pro 4, it's more asking about opinions.
I'm planning moving to a screen tablet. SP4 looks like a good alternative for Wacom Cintiq 13hd, it has similar price, size but also is a portable device, unlike Cintiq. I want to turn Surface into a screen tablet, for my PC. It can be achieved by using VirtualTablet, but I'm not sure about it. I have few questions: - Does it work well with Krita? - Does it support pen tilt? - Is there an input delay? - Will it work, if my PC uses Windows 7? - Is it as good as using Cintiq? |

I have never tried to use my surface as a tablet -- but then, I've got a cintiq hybrid companion and wacom mobilestudio to test with. Surface tablets do not support tilt, and the n-trig pen suffers from a little delay. Some people have no problem with that, but it drives me crazy. A Surface Pro definitely isn't as good a drawing device as a Cintiq.

So I'll probably buy Cintiq is it's better than Surface.
It's costy, but if alternatives are worse then I guess they're not worth it. |

I've done that a couple of times in my life -- gone for the cheaper option, thinking it'd be good enough for unsophisticated me, and I always regretted it.
