I've been working on a web comics reader with support for reading panel by panel, making it easier to read comics on small screens.
You can find some sample comics here http://dev.ragtag.net/index.php, and get the source code here https://github.com/ragtag/panel-by-panel. If you're using it on a big screen, it will default to not zoom in on the panels, but you can still activate the zoomed in mode, by clicking the panel icon in the top menu. (Note, the comics are Creative Commons works from the ACBF Comics Library http://acbf.info/, and are not by me, nor drawn in Krita as far as I know). The reason I'm posting this on the Krita forum is because Krita's Comics Manager actually supports exporting to ACBF (Advanced Comic Book Format), that Panel by Panel uses. This means that you can simply create a vector layer in Krita called "frames", and draw squares around the panels of your comic pages, then export as ACBF, and it will be more or less ready to go (see https://github.com/ragtag/panel-by-panel for a bit more detail). I'm reasonably happy with how it's working now, and will be rolling it out for my own comics soon, but would love some feedback on it. It would also be good to know what device you've tested it on, as there are so many different browsers, tablets, phones and what not, that it's impossible for me to test it on all of them. |

Nice!
Peruse on master also supports panel-by-panel and panel creation(But this is all still waiting for a release...), so we're slowly but surely seeing more implementations |
