Why Krita 4.2 looks so different?

Sun Jun 09, 2019 2:18 pm
Hey, I just wanted to ask if some major change related to theming occurred around release of 4.2.

After I updated to 4.2 (currently I'm on 4.2.1) I noticed that application looks very differently and unfortunately it's not a good change.
Although I can't exactly put my finger to it, application looks worse and has themeing problems that weren't there before.

I don't know if it's problem on my end or if something changed with Krita, so I'm looking to find out if it's something I can fix.

If you're using Linux, then what happened is that we came across a bug in the breeze widgetstyle and had to disable it until the bug is fixed. If that isn't the case then I have no idea.

So it's a bug. Good to know. Do you have any estimation when it might get fixed?
